i dont know about colorectal cancer, but you can read about it on the mayoclinic.com, great site to find out about health problems. i read it there somewhere that having blood in your stool, if its not too often, is okay, because when you have hemorrhoids, you develop, anal fissures, as long as it doesnt happen to often, it usually heals by itself in a few days. so drink plenty of water, to soften your stool and to replenish the blood you lost. dont be scared about it, you should be scared when your stools color changes into brown or like mud, because that means the blood is coming from inside your intestine or stomach. if your bloody stool lasts longer than a week, then you should see a doctor, but dont be scared, you should just be ready with the questions you want to ask the doctor.
